For the first time, CONVAL 6.0 allows thermodynamic equations of state to be used to determine fluid properties - the outcome of F.I.R.S.T.'s cooperation with the University of the Ruhr in Bochum.

Just in time for the new release, the list of available fluids has been extended once again and meanwhile includes more than 60 of the most common fluids, embracing a broad spectrum of applications.

CONVAL thus also calculates cryotechnical applications (hydrogen, helium, nitrogen etc. at very low temperatures) reliably, for instance, or ethylene up to 3000 bar is equally unproblematic.
