The CONVAL Service Release 7.0.9 fixes the following issues:
Control valve
There is an issue with the computation of the downstream pressure p2 for gases and vapours with given data for upstream pressure, Cv value and flow: The calculated value of p2 is too high.
Tank depressurization
The initial mass flow during the depressurization of tanks with high pressure gases is calculated too high and thus the depressurization time is partly significantly too low.
Shell-and-tube heat exchanger
The Mean logarithmic temperature difference of counter-flow heat exchangers with more than one cycle is computed too high and the heat exchanger is under-sized in such cases.
Details can be found on the download page in the version history and in the known bugs section.
