Converting bbl/d (US) to bbl/d(oil)

Amount : 1 barrel fluid per day bar/d -> in CONVAL® bbl/d(US)
Equals : 0.75 barrels oil per day bbl/d(oil)

The "barrel" unit is unfortunately the most confusing one you can think of, as in many cases, the volume is depending on the kind of liquid and the country were you are located.

E.g. a barrel of beer is something totally different tha a barrel of oil, that's probably not so suprising. But a barrel of beer (US) is different to  a barrel of beer (UK).

Amount : 1 barrel beer US per day (bar/d of flow rate)
Equals : 0.72 barrels beer UK per day (bar/d / flow rate)

You can use the build-in Unit converter in CONVAL® to view all available units and convert them into each other.

CONVAL Calculator

Please be ware that CONVAL® is only supporting a certain set of units of measure.

I hope this answers your question.

Yes thanks for the answer!  I was able to find an obscure reference on the internet as well late yesterday.

Bonus - discovering the units convertor right in Conval - that will come in handy.
